As a coach, have you ever experienced awkward coaching situations with a coachee from a different cultural background?

As a trainer, do you believe that coaching could be a great asset for your intercultural training work, with assignees or multicultural teams, but wonder how to combine both?

Then this highly interactive session delivered by two experienced coaches & intercultural trainers is for you as our facilitators will shed some light on these questions for a mutual learning experience.

During this joint event, coaches will learn from interculturalists and interculturalists will learn from coaches.

Using a presentation format as well as small group discussions & short case studies taken from real life, this session will provide the opportunity to apply theory to practice.

Discover some of the factors that influence intercultural relationships and learn how to work through intercultural challenges in coaching situations.

This impactful session will address the following core competencies which are relevant both to coaches and trainers in their daily client interaction:

  • Raise awareness of the impact of culture in coaching
  • Add a new coaching perspective to your intercultural competence
  • Allow for clearer communication between different cultures
  • Establish trust and intimacy with the client
  • Foster active listening
  • Develop your powerful questioning techniques
  • Create awareness
