We have taken the very difficult decision to postpone the SIETAR Switzerland Congress 2020 in light of the global impact of the COVID 19 outbreak. The conference will now be held October 23rd to 25th 2020 at the same location in Yverdon-les-bains, Switzerland. This decision to postpone the congress was taken by our board after close monitoring of the rising global risk assessment by the World Health Organization and of the increasing number of travel restrictions in many countries.

Yverdon-les-Bains, postponed from April 3rd to 5th 2020 to October 23rd to 25th 2020

The Future of Inclusion

The Conference venue is The Cheseaux site of the HEIG-VD

The different sessions of our congress will focus on living and working together, developing collaborative intelligence, global citizenship and getting ready to deal with the economic, climactic, intercultural and inter religious dialogue and migration challenges facing our world in the future. Our aim is to link latest research with concrete actions, best practices and grassroots initiatives.

Target audience: Practitioners, Organizations, NGOs, Educational Institutions, HR and I&D representatives from the Corporate sector.

Location: Our sincere thanks to our venue sponsor, HEIG-VD and to Dr. Pia Stalder, Associate Professor of Intercultural Management and her team for hosting this congress in their wonderful premises.

We are extremely proud to share some of the names of our congress presenters:

Expect many more surprises: a writers’ corner which will be open to presenters and participants who have just published, a students’ scientific posters’ competition courtesy of our member organisation, The University of Bourgogne ICM Faculty, and also wonderful venues for our opening apéro and gala dinner !

About Yverdon-les-Bains: The city in which our congress is being held is a spa town and historic centre, Yverdon-les-Bains on Lake Neuchâtel. This city combines culture and relaxation, business and pleasure.

For 1,500 years, Yverdon-les-Bains has been the by-word for well-being; relaxation guaranteed at the Thermal Baths,  Wellness Center and Private Spa with its 29° sulphur springs.

With the biggest technology park in Western Switzerland, Yverdon-les-Bains is also an important business centre hosting many conferences while its pedestrian streets are the perfect place to browse in search of wonderful specialist boutiques.

The Neolithic menhirs, Roman castrum, mediaeval castle and 18th century buildings are testaments of a long history which is told at the town’s History Museum, while the Maison d’Ailleurs science fiction museum, unique in Europe, projects visitors into an imaginary future.

In addition to its historical buildings, Yverdon-les-Bains has an exceptional natural heritage with the Grande Cariçaie, the biggest lakeside nature reserve in Switzerland.

Our first congress – held in Lugano in 2018 – counted participants who attended from 3 different continents and 17 countries. We are looking to a significant increase in view of the success of this first event, so book early to benefit from our Early Bird discount!
