Cooperation makes the world go round – literally. No society, no business, no family, no relationship can function without cooperation. Cooperative behaviour is at the very heart of the ‘conditio humana’ and it is central to what makes humans so successful as a species. It is therefore worth delving into the basis of what determines and enables prosocial behaviour in the work context, for individuals, in teams, and in organisations. Globally, we are faced with two big challenges across all types of businesses and public sector organisations: an increase in multiculturality of both workforce and client bases, and the digitalisation of work processes.  In this seminar, Karin will focus specifically on cooperation in hybrid and remote work settings and the role of cultural differences, and how we can turn these organisational challenges into evidence-based opportunities.
