Based on a case study, this presentation shows how intercultural skills combine with networking and collective intelligence to achieve crisis resolution. Participants are invited to bring along an object or photo which represents their own cultural identity.

This session will take place directly after our Annual General Meeting, and is open to both members and non-members. It will be followed by a networking apéro.

About the Speaker:

Born in the UK with East German family ties, Vivienne Gaskell has French-British nationality and extensive experience in leading and implementing communication strategy in different intercultural contexts

Currently, she is Head of Communications at the French-German Research Institute of Saint-Louis (ISL). Prior to this, she was Head of Communications at the French-Swiss EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg from 2002 to 2020.

Vivienne is a certified intercultural trainer from the University of Jena and has recently qualified as a mediator (IFOMENE, Paris). Her favourite subjects are crisis communications, media relations, event management and intercultural mediation.
