The innovation landscape is made up of global, complex networks of relationships between people of different backgrounds, values and needs, working together in real and virtual contexts. This diversity opens up new opportunities. At the same time, it raises numerous questions for management. Creativity and intercultural competence are in demand, they belong to the Future Skills. The Team Creativity Navigator© is a new assessment and competence development tool that helps leaders’ and teams’ creativity performance. Pia will also open the perspective on the DiversityCreaTool©, a new learning tool she is conceiving together with her research team.
About the Speaker:
Dr Pia Stalder is Associate Professor of Intercultural Management at the School for Engineering and Management Vaud (HEIG-VD, HES-SO) in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland. Her research, teaching, training and consulting activities aim to strengthen the development of intercultural communication competences. Pia is particularly interested in the subjects of diversity and creativity. The Sustainable Development Goals are particularly close to Pia’s heart and she’s convinced that we can only achieve these goals by multilateral, strong and respectful partnerships across physical and mental boundaries.
Recent publications include articles on the subject of communication strategies in international work settings and on creativity in intercultural teams.
